Today was action packed. We took a beautiful drive into the Canadian Rockies and hopped straight onto a gondola ride to see awesome views of the Lake Louise area. Then we drove down to the lake itself and hiked around the lake edge. When the sun shines the lake is a bright turquoise. There were lots of little chipmunks which amused Luke considerably, people rock climbing the sheer cliffs and others canoeing in the water. It is all very pretty!
We had time to visit Morraine Lake before the sun went down which was smaller but just as nice; there were lots of mounds of fallen rocks to climb which always keeps Luke happy. We are checked into a little wooden cabin called Paradise Lodge; it's so serene here I could stay for days.
