I only took one photo with my phone today but it's a good'un. The drive from Vancouver to Revelstoke was in most places beautiful with steep mountains & cascading water, still lakes and green meadows. In our 6.5hour drive we only saw a few small towns, they really do have a lot of space here! On our way we passed the Rocky Mountaineer train which definitely looks like a bucket list journey.
The town of Revelstoke itself is small but lovely and peaceful. It was hot too! We took a walk to the front of the lake where there were loggers logging, fishermen fishing, teenagers playing baseball, and a man sat by the water writing songs with his guitar - the perfect place! We had a really good pizza in a family restaurant called Emo's. Our motel is very nice indeed and includes breakfast with waffle maker. I cannot wait for Lake Louise tomorrow!!
