Yosemite National Park Day 3 & 4

Breathtaking... every corner you turn there's a different view. We wanted to stop at every lay by to take a photo. We took a few photos with our phones but the best ones are on the camera so you'll have to wait for them.

It was a 6 and a half hour drive from Death Valley to Yosemite Valley but it was by no means boring. We decided to drive 15miles up to the top of Glacier Point for the best and highest views of the valley at 7214ft. I can say that it was the most spectacular view I have ever seen in my life, but I did experience a bit of vertigo, especially with Luke running around and jumping off rocks. We saw a bear at the top, and 3 deer on the way down.

After a one night stay at Cedar Lodge and a breakfast buffet we decided to head back into the valley again before driving to San Francisco. We stopped at a few waterfalls, paddled in some beautiful streams and hiked to Mirror Lake. Luke had a great time. Just give him a stick and he's happy.

The drive to San Francisco started off plain but as we got closer golden rolling hills appeared which looked stunning in the evening light. 5 lanes of traffic queued for miles before entering the city. The golden gate bridge was pretty massive, you could see the whole city, although it is a little foggy today but  refreshingly cool!

I think we are too tired to explore the city tonight, so John has the task of ordering a takeaway to Cova hotel, can you guess? Dominoes.
